For the first time in 30 years, Bill Wyman has reunited with his Rolling Stones bandmates. The bassist will participate in the band's new album project, to pay tribute to drummer Charlie Watts who passed away on 24 August 2021.
Bill Wyman, who is now 86 years old, left the Rolling Stones in 1993 after spending three decades with the group. The bassist has reportedly stated that he never regretted the decision and that the only reason he would accept the return would be to pay tribute to Charlie Watts.
Wyman is expected to feature on one track on the new album, having already performed several sessions in Los Angeles about seven months ago.
