Steven Tyler has Italian origins
His real name is Steven Victor Tallarico. Steven's father was in fact of Italian descent: in particular, his grandfather Giovanni Tallarico was a musician who emigrated from southern Italy, specifically Calabria. Tyler is therefore the English version of his father's surname. By virtue of his origins, the Calabrian municipality of Cotronei granted Steven honorary citizenship: Tyler said he loved Italy and especially Calabria for the beautiful people living there and the excellent local cuisine.

That time when Steven Tyler when drunk he did not recognize a song from his band
Especially in his youth, Steven lived as a true rock star, even though he sometimes risked death due to his excesses. Here is one of the most famous anecdotes about him. On 10 June 1993, Aerosmith was travelling between stops on their tour. While they were on the bus, Steven, who had been drinking a little too much, heard a song by his band, 'Dream On', on the radio. The singer told Joe Perry that the song was really great and Aerosmith should definitely do a cover of it. Bassist Tom Hamilton reminded Tyler that 'Dream On' was one of their songs, which the band had performed the night before at a concert!

How Steven found out he was Liv Tyler's father
The actress Liv Tyler has often collaborated with her father: Liv appears in the video clip of Aerosmith's 'Crazy' and is the protagonist of the film 'Armageddon', the soundtrack of which includes the famous song 'I Don't Want to Miss a Thing', recorded by Aerosmith. Initially, however, Steven did not know that he was the father of Liv, who as a child was called Liv Rundgren, after the surname of her mother's partner, musician Todd Rundgren. In 1986, during a Rundgren concert, Liv met Steven and his daughter Mia and noticed an incredible resemblance to the latter: this is how the truth was discovered. Steven and Liv's mother had an affair 10 years earlier and she became pregnant. The Aerosmith frontman recognised Liv as his daughter and she decided to use her father's surname.

As a young man, the singer-songwriter loved to buy and collect cars and motorbikes, even going so far as to buy unique or extremely rare models.
