Elton John bids farewell to live audiences, farewell also at Glastonbury Festival
Sir Elton John is now ready to say goodbye to touring altogether. The British pop star is busy with the last concerts of his 'Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour', which will end on 8 July in Stockholm.
Elton John also said goodbye to the legendary Glastonbury Festival (in the south west of England), where he performed on Sunday 25 June. The musician has made it known for some time now that after the farewell tour he will at most indulge in occasional live performances.
After 32 studio albums, record sales of 300 million, at the age of 76, the time has come for Elton John to start saying goodbye to the live stage.

A farewell tour that lasted for years
Elton John's 'Farewell Yellow Brick Road' started on 8 September 2018 in Pennsylvania (USA) and will end on 8 July 2023 in Sweden. The tour included more than 300 concerts around the world and, according to Billboard, grossed approximately $887 million, making it the highest-grossing tour ever.
