Every year Guinness World Records, the famous book that certifies records of all kinds, from the weirdest to those related to sports, entertainment and, of course, music, is published.

The latest edition of the Guinness World Records offers a lot of news on the subject of music records although, of course, records are made to be broken and every day a singer or musician can get a new record.

The latest edition of Guinness World Records offers plenty of novelties, although, of course, records are made to be broken and every day a singer or band can achieve a new record by surpassing one of their colleagues. "Easy on Me" by Adele is the most played song on Spotify in 24 hours
On 15 October 2021, 'Easy on Me' was played 19,749,704 million times on Spotify. Moreover, this song is also the one with the most total streams in a week, an impressive 84,952,932 million in seven days. The male record, on the other hand, belongs to Harry Styles with 'As It Was' (16,103,849 million streams on 1 April 2022).

Bruce Springsteen is the musician having achieved the highest earnings in a single calendar year
After taxes, Bruce Springsteen earned a whopping $590 million in 2021, according to Rolling Stone magazine. An insane figure, mainly due to the sale of his entire music catalogue to Sony for USD 500 million: this represents the biggest sale of an artist's publications, a record-breaking deal that includes 20 of the singer-songwriter's studio albums.

Tony Bennett is the oldest person to have released an unreleased album
At the release of "Love for Sale", the second album made in collaboration with Lady Gaga, Tony Bennett was 95 years old. "Love for Sale" was the 61st studio album by Bennett, born August 3, 1926 at New York.

The Foo Fighters are the band to have won the Grammy for Best Rock Album multiple times
