The well-known US music magazine 'Rolling Stone' has tried to draw up a personal ranking of the best dance songs of all time, capable of making the history of this musical genre, also helping to define the sound of the various musical decades. 

Obviously, there is nothing more personal than musical taste, and even in this case, the ranking does not define which songs are the absolute best: certainly, however, these songs have marked the history of the dance genre.

Roger Waters was a co-founder and historical member of the British music group Pink Floyd, in which he served primarily as bassist and vocalist.

Waters was also the historical author and creator of the underlying themes of some of the group's most famous albums such as "The Dark Side of the Moon", "The Wall" or "Animals". After becoming leader of the group, Roger Waters left band in 1985, pursuing a solo career.

A curious anecdote about a statement Waters made in the 1980s, in a famous interview with Times in which he had said, ""Atom Heart Mother", here is a perfect example of an album that should be thrown in the trash can and never listened to again. It's really horrible and embarrassing."
