The musicians who sadly left us in 2022
During this 2022 that is about to end, some musicians have sadly left us.
Among them, the deaths of the drummer of Foo Fighters, Taylor Hawkins, and the keyboardist of the Depeche Mode, Andy Fletcher, both of whom died prematurely, aroused immense pain and amazement.
But in 2022 we also said goodbye to American rapper Coolio and legendary pianist and singer Jerry Lee Lewis. In addition to two other legends of music such as Meat Loaf and Betty Davis. The singer and rapper Aaron Carter, brother of Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys, also died at a very young age.

Taylor Hawkins
On March 25, 2022, at only 50 years old, the drummer of Foo Fighters, Taylor Hawkins sadly left us. The musician was in the city of Bogotá with the band, for a performance. On September 3rd, at the stadium of Wembley, many artists organized a concert in his memory.
Coolio
On September 28, 2022, at 59, the American rapper Coolio was found dead in the bathroom of the house of a friend he had visited in Los Angeles. Authorities said he would die due to suspected cardiac arrest. Coolio is best known for being the author Gangsta's Paradise, a song for which he won one Grammy Award and three MTV Video Music Awards.
Meat Loaf
On January 20, 2022, at the age of 74, the singer and actor Meat Loaf, born Marvin Lee Aday also left us. In 1975 he was called to play the character of Eddie in The Rocky Horror Picture Show, in which he sings "Hot Patootie/Bless My Soul".
Andy Fletcher
On May 26, 2022, due to a sudden illness, Andy Fletcher, keyboardist and founder of the band Depeche Mode leaves us. A skilled chess player, Fletcher has often dealt with the managing part of the band and being the spokesperson for the group.
Jerry Lee Lewis
On October 28, 2022, the world said goodbye to legendary American pianist and singer Jerry Lee Lewis. He is considered one of the greatest of the twentieth century and, by critics, among the greatest exponents of the genre rock n'roll. For his wild, nonconformist and rebellious way of performing live he earned the nickname The Killer.
Mark Lanegan
On February 22, 2022, at the age of 57, Mark Lanegan, American singer-songwriter best known for being the singer of Screaming Trees and for collaborating with Queens of the Stone Age, left us. Lanegan was found dead in his Irish home.
Betty Davis
On February 9, 2022, the funk and soul singer Betty Davis also left us. Miles Davis's second wife, she convinced him to deepen his knowledge of the contemporary rock scene and has sometimes been referred to as the woman who invented the fusion.
Aaron Carter
On November 5, 2022, at only 34 years of age, Aaron Carter passed away. The American singer and rapper was the younger brother of Nick Carter, a member of the boy band Backstreet Boys. Unfortunately, for the Carter family, it was a second tragic loss, given that, in 2012, Leslie, sister of Nick and Aaron, had also died prematurely at only 25 years old.
