Rock in love: Lasting, sick and burst couples

When Sid met Nancy in London in 1977, the two became inseparable. Nancy taught Sid everything there was to know about sex, drugs, and the life of New York rockers. On October eleven 1978, at the Chelsea Hotel in New York, where Sid and Nancy had settled, Vicious called the front desk asking for help: Nancy Spungen had bled to death on the floor, stabbed in the abdomen. Vicious, who was found wandering the corridors in a state of agitation, was arrested and charged with murdering her. At first he confessed to the crime, but later denied everything, saying that at the time of the murder he was still asleep. Theories about Spungen's death continue to circulate today, and some say that she was the one who hit herself, and Vicious could not help her because she had taken too many drugs.

John Lennon and Yoko Ono: the story of a legendary love from beginning to tragic end.
The Beatles singer and Japanese artist first met when the Liverpool musician visited the preview of an Ono exhibition at London's Indica Gallery on November 9, 1966. John Lennon, having obtained a divorce from his first wife, Cynthia, married Yoko on the Rock of Gibraltar on 20 March 1969. Their relationship was intense to say the least, and many fans attributed the breakup of the Beatles to the "Japanese witch". To end their love was only the murder of John at the hands of a deranged man, 25-year-old Mark David Chapman.

David Bowie and Iman loved each other. And she continues to love him. They were married in the American Episcopal Church in Florence on June 6, 1992. In 2000, their daughter Alexandria was born. He disappeared in New York on January 10, 2016. A love truly beyond death.

They had met in 1990 at a club in Portland, they were both leaders of two successful bands, they were young, handsome and with a penchant for drugs. Kurt was immediately fascinated by that woman three years older, very blonde, with a transgressive style and aggressive manners. It reminded her of Nancy Spungen, Sid Vicious' woman. When they decide to marry Courtney is already pregnant, and when the expectant mother revealed that she used heroin during pregnancy, little Frances Bean was entrusted to social services because her parents were deemed "incapable" of offering her a healthy and balanced environment in which to grow up. Kurt and Courtney, despite their respective addictions and "dangerous" lifestyle, never accepted the idea of losing custody of their only daughter, and fought until they got it again. There has been a lot of talk about the relationship between Courtney and Kurt, their "toxic" love, their inability to be good parents, the role of the widow Love after Kurt's death: the truth is that she tried to save him, but perhaps she had already understood that her pain was something she could not fight against, and that in the end she would prevail. On April 5, 1994, Kurt Cobain decided to take his own life.

The love story between singers Bob Dylan and Joan Baez is one of the most famous in the history of music.
A legendary love between singers Bob Dylan and Joan Baez, destined to remain forever in the historical memory of music. A story that lasted only a few years and ended with a betrayal, but which is preserved forever in the magic of their songs. The two met for the first time in 1961 at Gerde's Folk City in Greenwich Village in New York City. Marianne Faithfull became the inseparable companion of Mick Jagger, his muse and proponent of some of the Rolling Stones' greatest hits.
The singer's influence on the Stones' career was also evident in some songs (an example was Sympathy for the Devil,) and this influence also resulted in a collaboration, when Marianne, Keith and Mick co-wrote Sister Morphine. The song caused a rift with Faithfull when her name was not mentioned for the single's US release. Only in 1994 her name was reinserted, following a long legal dispute, and perhaps this also distanced her from Jagger, with whom she officially closed in 1970.

Ozzy Osbourne and his wife and manager Sharon celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary.
The couple first met when Sharon was just 18 and Ozzy was 22. Ozzy and Sharon had renewed their wedding vows shortly before their 35th wedding anniversary, a year after they separated when news circulated that Ozzy had had an affair with a hairdresser. Ozzy later told Sharon that he would do whatever it took to repair the damage he had caused from his alleged affair.

John met Furnish, 15 years his junior, in October 1993. Sober for three years after more than a decade of substance abuse, the singer was learning to live life without drugs or alcohol. In 1993, at a party organized at John's house, he met the singer. Initially on his, as soon as he chats he immediately receives a good impression. After less than a year they come out and announce that they love each other. 11 years after their engagement, the two began fighting to open the civil partnership register for homosexuals in the United Kingdom. In 2014 they finally get married. As a demonstration of their love, the two decided to adopt two children, the first Elijah Joseph Daniel and the second Zachary Jackson Levon.

The story between Anita Pallenberg and Keith Richards is legend.
The two realize that they are in love while Anita is with Brian Jones, with whom she has a relationship undermined by the violence caused by drug abuse. She moved into his house, and stayed there for 14 years, and during that time they had three children, Marlon, Angela and Tara. Both will struggle to be model parents. The drug demon, in fact, has long taken possession of them and they spend time detoxifying from any type of narcotic, from acids to heroin, and then relapse, often in alternating phases during which what is clean takes care of the children. In the end, he is the one who finally detoxifies, but not her, and this was the cause of their separation. Keith says in his autobiography that he never stopped loving her, but that it was no longer possible to move on. He will get together with his future wife, Patti Hensen, but the children will always keep in touch.
