Initially, however, Steven did not know that he was the father of Liv, who as a child was called Liv Rundgren, after the surname of her mother's partner, musician Todd Rundgren. In 1986, during a Rundgren concert, Liv met Steven and his daughter Mia and noticed an incredible resemblance to the latter: this is how the truth was discovered. Steven and Liv's mother had an affair 10 years earlier and she became pregnant. The Aerosmith frontman recognised Liv as his daughter and she decided to use her father's surname.
